NAAIA Foundation Mission and Vision
The Mission of the NAAIA Foundation is to provide philanthropic support to nonprofit organizations through established programs in local communities throughout the world and to increase the understanding and importance of the industry in rebuilding communities throughout the world when impacted by natural and other disasters.
The Vision of the NAAIA Foundation is to invest in organizations, initiatives and communities that assist individuals and/or their communities in efforts related to diversity, inclusion, equity, economic parity, and sustainable long-term growth.
Our philanthropic giving is in four focus areas:
Scholarships
Programs by nonprofits that offer scholarships to African Americans seeking a career in insurance and/or financial services.
Leadership Development
Provide support to organizations that offer leadership mentoring, training and career development for African Americans.
Business Ownership
Provide funding to organizations that offer programs that make it easier for African Americans to own and grow an insurance and/or financial services business.
Community Development
Provide disaster relief funding to economically distressed African American Communities.
