Brian Johnson is Head of North America Actuarial Advisory (NAAA) part of Guy Carpenter’s Global Actuarial Advisory group. NAAA provides analytical and advisory services including analytics to structure reinsurance placements that meet the capital and growth needs of our clients.
Brian previously served as Chief Underwriting Officer at Nonprofits Insurance Alliance. Prior to Nonprofits, Brian held various roles at Swiss Re and Munich Re, working as an actuary and an underwriter. Brian brings over 35 years of actuarial and underwriting experience from having worked in consulting, primary insurance and reinsurance. He is an Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries. He holds a Bachelor of Science focused on mathematics/actuarial science from Pennsylvania State University where he was also an adjunct professor teaching a class on actuarial science.
